Whaingaroa Purpose

Primary purpose of Tetekura Maranga Mai pu wananga is to enhance and support the development of Leaders for whanau, hapu and iwi.  

Whakamarama Explanation

Te Korowai Aroha o Aotearoa has developed a further level of Te Manatu Maori Tuku Tohu (Indigenous Qualifications Framework) to develop skills and qualities realized in Mauri Ora Training.

 

Te Korowai Aroha o Aotearoa has delivered Mauri Ora Transforming Whanau Violence over the last 8 years. Te Korowai Aroha o Aotearoa has responded to the call of Iwi Kaiwhakaruruhau to provide advance practitioner Pu Wananga.

Whakaritenga Criteria

Tetekura Maranga Mai acknowledges that all Iwi Kaiwhakaruruhau are kaitiaki of knowledge and that they will identify key qualities of Leadership that derives from their whanau, hapu and iwi.  It is an imperative that Iwi Kaiwhakaruruhau provide evidence that they come with the tautoko of their whanau, hapu and iwi.  This pu wananga is for certificated Iwi Kaiwhakaruruhau only.

 

These will be specific to;

 

- Kaitiakitanga in relation to knowledge as a taonga tuku iho of their whanau, hapu and iwi

 - Rangatiratanga Leadership; evidence of successful initiatives implemented by Iwi Kaiwhakaruruhau within their hapu and iwi requiring leadership ability.
